Election of a Parish Councillor for

WESTON TURVILLE PARISH COUNCIL

1. An election is to be held for ONE Parish Councillor for the Weston Turville Parish Council.
2. Forms of nomination for the Parish Council Election may be obtained from the Clerk to the Parish Council or The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Deputy Returning Officer, Electoral Services, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury HP19 8FF on any day after the date of this notice, between 10am and 4pm but no later than 4 pm on Friday 13 January 2023. 4. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 9 February 2023.
5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 24 January 2023. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF by 5 pm on Wednesday 25 January 2023.
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF by 5 pm on Wednesday 1 February 2023.
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity, work/service reasons or Covid 19 reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF by 5 pm on Thursday, 9 February 2023. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday 1 February 2023. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5 pm on Wednesday 1 February 2023.
