Jubilee Park and Memorial Playing Field

The Parish Council owns and is responsible for the Jubilee Park and Memorial Playing Field which is located behind the Village Hall.  The park was renamed to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.  There are a number of facilities here, including tennis courts, football pitches, skate park, petanque court and children’s playground.

Please help keep the area tidy and report any issues to the Clerk by email or telephone 01296 612838.  

Dog walkers - dogs are not permitted within fenced off areas (skate park, children's playground, petanque court), please pick up after your dogs and use the dog waste bins provided.

Football Pitches

The football pitches are leased to a local football club, please contact the Clerk if you are interested in hiring them next season.

Tennis Courts

The tennis courts are open to the public and available 24/7 at no charge.  

Children's Playground

The new children’s play area was opened in August 2021.  It provides a wide range of age applicable pieces that are suitable from tots to teens and even some adult exercise equipment so that the whole family has something to do.

Skate Park#

The new skate park was completed in November 2021 and is proving very popular.  Please take care when using the skate park, please doe not allow toddlers to run around the skate park area when it is being used by BMXer, skateboarders etc.

Multi Use Games Area

The new MUGA was opened in January 2022 providing a new facility for football, basketball and other ball games. 

Accessible pathway

Work has started on a new path which will go around the outer edge of both fields, the remainder of the paths will be completed once all the new facilities have been installed.

Petanque 

The petanque court was completed at the end of May and is now open and available for any member of the community to use it.  Please do not take dogs or bicyles onto the playing area.
