Use of Tennis Courts during lockdown

The tennis courts at the recreation ground behind the village hall have been re-opened today (14th May). The courts are available to local residents on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved.

The courts are not monitored and people using them are resposible for complying with current government guidelines regarding social distancing and hygiene. Please also follow the guidelines below:

  • Maximum 2 people per court (unless players are all from the same household)
  • Only handle your own tennis racket and personal (marked/initialed) tennis balls
  • Avoid changing ends or change at opposite sides of the net
  • Avoid touching any surfaces - eg do not adjust the net
