Road Closures

JOINT SEALING) (MARCH TO JUNE 2018)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER, 2018

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding,
except for access, in those lengths of various roads in various Parishes in the Aylesbury Vale District as specified in the
Schedule below.

The alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures are specified in the Schedule below.

The closures are required whilst joint sealing works take place and it is anticipated that the works will all take place
between 05 March and 01 June 2018 when signed and will continue for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until
the said works have been completed whichever is the earlier. The closures will be in place on the days/nights they are
signed and between the hours specified in the Schedule below.

The Order will come into operation on 05 June 2017 when the appropriate signs are lawfully displayed. Penalties for not
observing these restrictions will be as prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.

SCHEDULE - “AR” =

Cambourne Avenue/Bedgrove, Aylesbury for the entire length of the road. AR- Wendover Road, Wendover Way, Turnfurlong, King Edward Avenue and Tring Road. Cottesloe Road,

Aylesbury from Taylor Road to Churchill Avenue. AR-Churchill Avenue, Carrington Road, Thrasher Road and Taylor Road.

A413 Wendover Road, Stoke Mandeville from Station Road to Silver Birch Way. AR-Station Road, Lower Road, Mandeville Road, Old Stoke Road, Stoke Road,

Walton Street, Wendover Road, Walton Terrace and Wendover Way. Witchell, Wendover forthe entire length of the road. AR-Witchell.

These works will take place under a daytime or night time closure.
