Arriva have informed us that they are withdrawing or substantially changing a number of their commercial bus services in the Aylesbury area from 30th July.

  • Service 61 (Aylesbury – Tring – Pitstone – Edlesborough – Dunstable)

This service is being withdrawn by Arriva. We have interest from another bus company and we expect a replacement service to operate covering most current journeys. We will provide more details as soon as this is agreed.

  • Service 8 (Aylesbury to Bedgrove)
  • Service 50 (Aylesbury to Wendover and RAF Halton Camp)

Arriva are combining these into one service operating as follows:

Aylesbury – Narbeth Drive – Bedgrove (Camborne Avenue) – Weston Turville (Marrroway) – Wendover – Halton Camp.

This means that they will not serve the Elm Farm area and some current stops in Bedgrove.

We are working with another operator to run off peak journeys around the Elm Farm area and also to run school time journey to serve the John Colet School.

  • Service 650 (Schoolday service Aylesbury – Cottesloe School, Wing)

Redline buses have registered a replacement service.

We will send details of the replacement services when these are agreed. These are all commercial routes (so not subsidised or controlled by BCC) and we expect the replacements to operate in the same way.
